Obituary

Brian E. Toslin (1971-2024)

Brian E. Toslin, aged 52, entered eternal rest on March 23, 2024, at the Allied Services Hospice Center in Wilkes-Barre. His final chapter was marked by a brave battle with cancer, reflecting the heroism of the mythical figures he so admired.

Born to the late Sandra Harding Toslin and James Toslin, Brian's narrative was woven with the threads of love, resilience, and a zest for life's simple joys. His sister, Rona Martin of Plains Township, who cared for Brian in their Plains home, his brother, Steven Toslin of Missouri, along with a his nephew.

A devotee of grand narratives and epic battles, Brian found solace and excitement in the triumphs of the New York Yankees and the San Francisco 49ers. His fascination with the cinematic worlds of Transformers, Godzilla, and Bigfoot was not just a pastime; it was a portal to universes where wonders knew no bounds.

Museums offered Brian a sanctuary, a place where history whispered secrets of times long passed. The family cookouts he so dearly loved were not mere meals but festivals of kinship, laughter, and shared memories under open skies.

To honor and celebrate the life of Brian E. Toslin, a memorial service will be held at Yeosock Funeral Home, located at 40 S Main St, Plains, PA 18705. Friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Brian are invited to gather on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This gathering will be a testament to a life that, like the stories he loved, inspired wonder and joy in the hearts of those who knew him.

Brian's journey may have reached its end, but his story – rich in enthusiasm, love, and the magic of imagination – continues in the hearts of all who cherished him.
