Carol Anne Jackloski, 77, of Plains Township, passed into the arms of her Lord on Sunday evening, January 11, 2026.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on October 14, 1948, Carol was the daughter of the late Clement Lutinski and Catherine (Linski) Lutinski. On September 2, 1967, she married her forever love, George R. Jackloski, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.

Carol was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Class of 1966. She was a dedicated homemaker, a devoted wife, and lovingly committed to raising her two children and nurturing her grandchildren.

Throughout her life, Carol faced extraordinary health challenges. She courageously battled Crohn's disease, colitis, two forms of cancer, lymphedema, neuropathy, and endured multiple surgeries, all while bearing significant physical and emotional pain. Through it all, Carol remained a remarkable woman of courage, unshakable faith, and grace.

She was a faithful member of Saints Peter and Paul Church in Hudson and served as a member and secretary of the Ostomy Club for the Mercy Hospital Chapter.

Carol enjoyed spending time playing the slot machines at Mohegan Sun Casino and was an avid NFL football fan. One game in particular changed her life when she watched placekicker Rolf Benirschke of the San Diego Chargers speak openly about living fully with Crohn's disease and colitis. Inspired by his story, Carol pursued surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, which allowed her to live a more "normal" life. Rolf's continued advocacy through his organization, Team Hope, and Embracing Ostomy Life remained a source of encouragement to her.

Carol was a devoted supporter of her grandchildren and could always be found cheering them on at basketball and volleyball games, wrestling matches, piano recitals, and school events. The Pink games for breast cancer awareness held special meaning to her and helped lift her spirits.

Above all else, Carol's greatest passion was her family. She loved babies dearly and embraced each new child in the family as a gift. She was an excellent cook and cherished family holidays, especially when she took on the responsibility of hosting the traditional Polish Christmas Eve "Wigilia" after her mother's passing. This cherished tradition included a meatless feast, sharing of oplatek, heartfelt wishes, and gathering together as a family in love and faith.

Surviving are her husband of 58 years, George R. Jackloski; her brother, Walt Lutinski and his wife Joann (Filippini); and her sister, Bernadine Biscontini (Lutinski) and her husband William. She is also survived by her children, Lorrie Ann Beach and her husband Jeffrey of Thornhurst, PA, and Michael Jackloski of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and her beloved grandchildren, Jenna Beach, Aaron Beach, Ryan Jackloski, Landon Jackloski, and Logan Korus.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Hodakowski, and her sister, Marie Brynok (Hodakowski).

Friends and family may call for visitation beginning  8:30 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 13 Hudson Road, Plains. A Funeral Mass will be livestreamed and celebrated at 9:30 a.m., private interment to follow at Sacred Heart Slovak Cemetery in Dallas. Arrangements by Yeosock Funeral Home, Plains.
