Carole Ann Tencza, 47, of Ashley, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Geisinger CMC in Scranton. She was lovingly welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, Elizabeth Jean Tencza and Felix Tencza, as well as her beloved grandson, David Hinz.

Carole was many things to many people—fierce, nurturing, resilient—but above all, she was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved sister. Her life was rooted in love and sacrifice, always putting her family first.

She is survived by her six children: Krystyna, Vyktorya, Izayah, Aaliyah, Khalif, and K'Andre; her two grandchildren: Layloni and Mason; and a host of siblings, extended family, and friends who will carry her memory forward with love and deep gratitude.

Carole's spirit will be remembered in the laughter of her children, the strength of her grandchildren, and in every story told by those who loved her. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public viewing or funeral services.

Her absence leaves a space no one else can fill, but her love endures—in every heart she touched.
