She was born on July 2nd, 1944, in Plains Township, to the late Michael and Caroline Prebola. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Plains Township and attended Empire Beauty School where she obtained her cosmetology license.
Carolyn dedicated over 40 years of her career to RCA (Fairchild Semi-Conductor). Following retirement, she worked at Rite Aid as a part time clerk. She smiled the brightest when speaking about each and every grandchild and great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Delores Homza and brother, Thomas Prebola.
She is survived by longtime partner, Marvin Eroh; her children, son, Richard (Debra) Pitcavage; daughter, Tamara (James) Smicherko; daughter, Carolyn (John) Gruver, with whom she resided; daughter, Donna Giza; and son Joseph Pitcavage.
