Clara B. Rusinko passed away peacefully in the arms of the angels at Mountain View Care, Scranton, on Monday, January 24, 2022. Born in Pittston, she had just celebrated her 95th birthday. Clara was the daughter of Stella and John Snyder Pittston. Prior to her marriage, she worked in the Pocono's, St. Joseph's Orphanage Scranton, and N.Y. City; later, she was a caretaker for children. Clara was a loving wife, mother, and to all her new new her: she had a huge heart of gold. She loved to cook and shop. A very kind woman that's suffered a courageous battle and will be sadly missed. Clara was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Catherine Rusinko; husband, Nicholas Rusinko, the love of her life; brother, Edward Snyder; sisters, Millie Ferrante and Mae Benish; son-in-law's Bill Berner and Frank Dirvonsky; grandson, Heath Rusinko. Surviving are daughters, Deborah Dirvonsky, Wyoming and Sharon Berner George, North Carolina; sons, Mike Rusinko, Pittston and Nick Rusinko, W Pittston, Grandchildren, Jerry Brislin, Pittston, Shelly and Tina Berner, NC; Naomi Reynolds, Nicholson, Michelle Rusinko, Kevin Rusinko, Nicholas Rusinko, Jr.  Private services with Interment in St Peter's Luthern Cemetery, Hughestown will be conducted at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains 18705.
