In Loving Memory of Daniel James Amos Sr.

September 9, 1965 – October 4, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel "Danny" James Amos Sr., who left us on October 4th, 2024, at the age of 59 due to heart failure. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terry Amos, his mother Elizabeth Donovan, his father Daniel James Donovan Sr., and his sister, Alice Donovan.

Danny is survived by his loving siblings: Brenda Griffiths, Connie Donovan, Kathleen Conahan, Donna Donovan, David Hinz, Daniel "Hobo" Donovan, and Jimmy Donovan. He leaves behind his children, who will forever cherish his memory: Gail Marko, Jason Kostelnick, Daniel James Amos Jr. ("Stceter"), Jacqueline Drozda, and Felicia Amos. He is also survived by his grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

A skilled tow truck driver for many years, Danny was known for his love of working on cars. He also had a passion for playing the guitar and singing, which brought joy to those around him. His memory will live on in the music he loved, the family he adored, and the friendships he made throughout his life.

Danny's presence will be missed, but his spirit will remain with all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held Wednesday afternoon, Oct 16th, from 1 to 3 PM at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains, 18705.  May Danny rest in peace.
