Deborah Marie Hoidra transitioned to her heavenly home on June 20, 2022, after a tenacious seven-year battle against breast cancer. Born to Lucille DeMartino and William Schutter on March 12, 1965, Debbie is survived by both of her parents, as well as her three siblings , William (and wife Rhea) , Jessica (and husband Jeff) , and David (and wife Jinn) ; her loving husband, Matthew Hoidra; and her adoring daughters, Christina Hoidra and Angelina Hoidra.

Her culinary prowess , sharp wit, and aesthetic eye were surpassed only by her giving spirit , warm presence, and boundless love . She was a steadfast supporter of h er family and friends, never missing a chance to celebrate her loved ones. To know her is to love her, and her legacy of cookies , caring, and compassion will endure through all whose lives she touched.

The Funeral for Deborah will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022  at 9:15 am from the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main Street, Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 am Saturday morning in Debbie's longtime parish, St. Ignatius Loyola, at 339 N Maple Ave, Kingston, 18704 . Interment immediately following in St John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery, Pringle. Friends and relatives are invited for a viewing/ wake  service from 4 pm to 6 pm Friday evening at Yeosock Funeral Home. Masks are not mandatory at either service but, are greatly appreciated by the family.

In lieu of flowers, Debbie's loved ones encourage donati ons to Believe Big (believebig.org) , a Christian non-profit focused on bridging the gap between conventional and complimentary medicines for those fighting cancer. The family would also like to express gratitude for the compassionate care Debbie received in her final days from the incredible hospice staff at Allied Services. Love is always the answer.
