Dolores H. Evans, of Wilkes-Barre fell asleep in the Lord on March 11, 2022, while under the care of River Street Manor, Wilkes-, PA. She was born June 9, 1931, in Plains, a daughter of the late David and Victoria Loncoski Jennings.

She was a faithful member of St. Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Church of Wilkes-Barre.

Dolores's greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyrill Evans; daughter, Beverly Asbury; grandson Christopher Evans Jr.; Sister Catherine Marcin; son-in-law Julian Fernandez

Surviving are her daughters, Dolores McGeehan (Robert), Catherine Krugel (Leo) Plains, Cynthia Fernandez Wilkes-Barre; Sons Cyril (Susan) Wilkes-Barre, Christopher (Julie) Plains; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; Sister, Margaret Evans Plains and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains, with Office of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre with the Rev. Michael Kerestes officiating.  Interment in Parish cemetery, Plains Township. Relatives and friends may call 4 to 6p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home with Parastas service at 5:30p.m.
