Dolores Karas, 91, of Wilkes-Barre passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her family's residence in Wilkes-Barre. Dolores was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Charles, parents, John and Mary Welgos, brother, John Welgos, sisters, Natalie and her husband Virgil Lispi, Mary and her husband, Bill Fleming. She is survived by her Brother Joseph and his wife Barbara Welgos, and nephew, Joseph Welgos. Dolores was employed in the garment industry as a machine operator and later became a lifetime caregiver for her son Charles. A Requiem Service will be held Thursday, February 24th, at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, 401 E. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre; with Rev. Innocent Neal officiating. Friends may call for vistation at Holy Trinity Church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas where Dolores will rest next to her husband, Charles, and son, Charles.
