Obituary

Mrs. Dolores Parada, 90, of Plains, PA passed away on July 26, 2022 at Allied Center City Hospice in
Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was a graduate of Mary Mount High School in Wilkes-Barre. Her devotion
through the years was taking care of her home and family in Plains, PA where she lived all of her married
life. She loved being a wife and mother.
Dolores finally joined her husband of 62 years, Joseph "Bucky" Parada after 8 years of sitting and talking
and remembering all their wonderful memories together with family. She often said how lucky she was
and would have never changed a thing.
Dolores is survived by two sons, Joseph Parada and his wife Sandy of Wilkes-Barre, Pa; and John Parada
and his wife Linda of Greentown, PA. She was also blessed with two grandchildren, Kimberly Davidow
and her husband Lee of Philadelphia, PA and John Parada and his wife Carolann of Port Hueneme, CA.
She was thrilled beyond words to have three Great Grandchildren, Madelyn Davidow age 3, Juliana
Parada age 2, and Camden Parada, age 1. All of her grandchildren were her pride and joy and brought a
smile to her face every day!!
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 30th, at the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains, with Office of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Mary of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church, 695 N Main St, Wilkes-Barre, 18705 with the Rev. Michael Kerestes officiating.  Interment in St Mary's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Dallas. Relatives and friends may call at Yeosock's from 8:30 a.m. until the funeral procession planned at 9:30 a.m. to St Mary's.
