Obituary

On Friday, January 13, Edmund C. Januszko, affectionately known as Ed and Pop, passed away. He was sixty-nine. As Ed wished, he passed at home surrounded by his loved ones. Ed was a jack of all trades. From being an incredible chef to a handy mechanic to a charismatic bartender, he was celebrated for his various skills and know-how. He loved simple things like golfing, skiing, bowling, playing with his dog, Goose, sitting in the Florida sunshine, drinking a good cup of coffee, and cheering on his favorite teams, Notre Dame and The Yankees. Ed also had a way with people, he was known to talk to anybody and everybody. Additionally, he was a proud and devoted grandfather, always attending sports events and concerts for his
grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Januszko, mother, Dorothy Januszko (Gabana), father, Edmund Januszko, twin sisters, Jean and Jane Januszko, daughter, Melissa Januszko, and grandchildren, Michael Cook and Jeremy Cook. He is survived by his daughter, Melinda
Januszko, stepchildren, Joseph Langan, Kathleen Stosek-Langan, Alice Langan, and Edward Langan, and daughter in-laws Jennifer Langan and Mary Langan. As well as his grandchildren, John Zawisky, Matt Zawisky, Gary Cook, Kaitlin Stosek, Alicia Langan, Ian Langan and Mia
Langan and great grandchild Cathy Zawisky. Ed will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him and calling him Pop. Friends and family are invited to a viewing service in honor of Ed's life to be held on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 from 4 to 6 pm at the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains 18705
