Elaine
Dudascik
d. Nov 26, 2025
Elaine Dudascik, 82, of Miners Mills, passed into eternal life on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Born on June 5, 1943, Elaine was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lottie (Puk) Rome. She was a 1961 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School and later retired from the Social Security Administration in Wilkes-Barre.
Known affectionately as Mom, Gram, and Nana, Elaine was full of spunk, wit, and humor. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling and volunteering at her church. She also loved occasional trips to the casino, shopping, talking on the phone, and relaxing while watching television with her dog, Diesel.
Elaine was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lutecki (7/23/1977); her second husband, John Dudascik (3/15/2021); and her beloved son, Robert Lutecki Jr.
Surviving are her daughter, Susan Lutecki; her grandson, Robert Lutecki III; her granddaughter, Kristyn Lutecki (fiancé Joe); and her great-grandchildren, Keayrah Maslowski, Karson Klesmer, and Keegan Klesmer. She is also survived by her sisters, Rosemary Hobbs (Jim) and Dorothy Krall (Steve), as well as nieces and nephews.
Elaine will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though her chair may be empty and her voice now silent, the love, strength, and light she brought into this world will continue to echo through her family for generations. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering love shaped the lives of those closest to her, and her family will carry her spirit forward in every story told, every laugh shared, and every moment of togetherness. As she enters eternal peace, her loved ones find comfort knowing she is reunited with those who went before her.
A funeral requiem service will be held at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains, PA 18705, on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 11 am, with Pastor Daniel Shission presiding.
