Emily Yitchinski originally from Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2021 at the age of 89. Emily lived most of her life in Bucks County and raised four children, Julianne Markwald, Alberta Feeley, Anthony Yitchinski, and Christine Nelson. She was a life long hard worker at several jobs while raising her family. She loved to cooking, especially her  stuffed cabbage "piggies", and potato pancakes. She loved to traveling and playing at the casinos especially in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. When she was home she would wake up every morning and sit and have coffee with her pet bird Peewee. Emily is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Albert Yitchinski; brother, Peter Schur, sisters Helen Klokus and  Ann Yatison. She was also the proud grandmother of four, Amy and Cissy Markwald, Christopher Yitchinski, and Sonja Feeley, and two great grand children, Evan and Eden. She will be missed by many.

The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday from the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in St. Andre Bessette Parish, 668 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. The Rev. Kenneth Seegar, pastor, will be celebrant of the service and interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Plains Twp. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
