Emma Cercone, 86 of Luzerne, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long and well lived life on Oct. 19th, 2023. Born in Italy, Emma created a life in the US after marrying her late husband, Frank A. Cercone, Jr. She was blessed with five children, ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Retiring after 16 years at McDonalds, she spent her free time playing slots, cards, crocheting, doing puzzle books, gardening, cooking, and most of all spending time with her family.

Emma is survived by her sister, Anna, and her children, Gina, Gregory (decd.), Frank, Steven, Christopher, their spouses Cindy, Sandy, Suzanne and Ladondra, as well as, grandchildren Justin, Kristin, Anthony, Melissa, Drew, Trevor, Taylor, C.J., Liam and Evan, and great grand-daughter Emma.

Emma lived a full life filled with joy and happiness. She will be fondly remembered and forever missed.

Please join us as we honor her memory on Oct. 24th, 2023, at Yeosock Funeral Home in Plains, PA from 2-4pm, followed by a short service. She will be laid to rest in Florida next to her husband, Frank Cercone, Jr.
