Francis R Chalker, 81, of Wyoming passed away peacefully into eternal life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.  Born October 31, 1940, in Luzerne County, he was the son of the late Verna Chalker and John Beneski.  He was a member of St. Monica Parish, West Wyoming and a graduate of Coughlin High School.  Francis was formerly employed by UPS and Leslie Fay.  His passions included boating and fishing at Harvey's Lake where he spent many weekends on the water.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Chalker-Verdekal.  Francis is survived by his fiancé, Helen Briggs, Wyoming; children, Helena Fedak and her husband Jim, Virginia; Karen Charnichko and her husband Robert, Wilkes-Barre Twp.; Patricia Mackiewicz, Hudson; Thomas Chalkee and his wife Erika, Hudson; and Frank Chalker and his companion Jennifer Siperko, grandchildren and great-granchildren.  A Funeral Service will be conducted at 5 pm Wednesday, January 26, 2022, celebrated by Rev. Peter Tomczak, at the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains, 18705.  Friends and relatives may call for visitation from 4 to 6 pm at the Funeral Home.
