Francis “Frank” J. Martin Jr., 67, of West Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his family following a prolonged illness.

Born May 9, 1959, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Francis J. Martin Sr. and Marilyn O’Rourke Martin.

Frank was a graduate of GAR High School and, prior to his retirement, was employed by Diamond Manufacturing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Denise Parkinson Martin; his sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Martin, who died in childhood; and his brother, John Martin.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Rogers Martin; two daughters, Talisha Martin and her partner, Michael Peranto, and Christina Salmond and her husband, Eugene; his grandchildren, Raj-Shawn, McKayla, Khaseem and Khadhara; and his great-grandchildren, Adriella and Silas.

Also surviving is his brother, Michael “Mike” Grohol-Martin and his husband, John, along with nieces and nephews.

Frank will be remembered for his love of family and for the many lives he touched throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
