Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Fred J. Bevan on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Fred was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who brought immense warmth and love to all his family and friends. Born and raised in the Wyoming Valley, he was a proud alumnus of WVW schools.

Throughout his life, Fred held various jobs that showcased his strong work ethic and dedication. His passions included hunting and fishing, but above all, he treasured the time spent watching movies with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories.

Fred was predeceased by his parents, his beloved son Joseph, and several siblings. His legacy continues through his loving wife, Linda, and his devoted children, Holly, Fred Jr., and Brandon and wife Keryn. He was a proud grandfather to Dakoda, Ariana, and Alberto Luna; Alyssia and Emily Bevan; Akeylah and Joseph Bevan; as well as Braxton and Kinsley Bevan. He also leaves behind his cherished great-grandchildren, Eliana, Annabella, and Monique Amigon, and Mason Bevan.

Fred is also survived by his sister Sharon, along with many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
