Gregory K. Samson, 63, of Nanticoke, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the VA Medical Center.

Born in Kingston on August 4, 1962, he was the son of the late Forrest and Barbara Samson. Gregory served in the United States Army and later worked in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant.

Gregory loved spending time in nature and enjoyed traveling the country in his younger years. He also had a passion for collecting knives, especially Case knives, which were among his favorites. A man of deep faith, Gregory remained devoted to the Lord throughout his life and found comfort in daily Bible study.

His son, Matthew, devoted himself to being by his father's side throughout his time in hospice, never leaving him during those long months of care.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Nancy; his son, Matthew and wife Angelique; his daughter, Carolann and husband John; his stepson, Brian; his brothers, Rod of Nanticoke and Jeff and wife Sandy of Ohio; and seven grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy.

Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
