Howard Halter Briggs IV "POW," 44, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Born in Staten Island, New York, Howard later made his home in Kingston, Pennsylvania, where he built a life centered on love, family, and friends.

Howard was a loving spouse and a proud father. Whether drawing, dancing, grilling, or writing, he poured his heart into everything he loved. He was known for his humor, warmth, and the way his presence lifted those around him. Howard's easy way with people and generous spirit touched everyone who had the chance to know him.

He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Green; his children, Najae Destinee Briggs, Howard Halter Briggs V, and Jaxson Avery Briggs; his mother, Joann Ghant; his stepfather, Jamie Ghant; and his siblings, Vanessa John, Vincent Nicholas, Charet Briggs, Christina Briggs, Brittany Briggs, Jordan Briggs, and Keith Briggs.

Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Avery Briggs, and his father, Howard Halter Briggs III.
