Obituary

Jennifer Voitek Zalinski, 49, of Laurel Run, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her
home. Born on August 9, 1973, in Kingston, Jennifer was the daughter of the late Robert and Patricia
Poperowitz Voitek. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Constance in 1986.
She is survived by husband John and three children she adored dearly Marissa Oncay, Jett, and
Bailey. Sisters Patricia (William) Washney, Wilkes-Barre, Mary (Franklin) Jennings, Wilkes-
Barre; Dawn Marie (Harry) Haas, Hunlock Creek; Kimberly Antal, Wilkes-Barre, Jonelle Leigh
(Joseph) McGlynn, Ashley; Alissa (Raymond) Masher, Hanover Twp., and brother Robert (Dawn)
Voitek, Plains Twp., as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Jennifer was a graduate of James M. Coughlin High School. She enjoyed many trips across
country even getting married in Las Vegas. She loved Ventura, CA and would spend hours on
the beach. She had a great sense of humor and a passion for music. Jennifer would want you
to keep the music playing because it touches us emotionally, where words alone can't.
Arrangements are by Yeosock Funeral Home, Inc., 40 South Main St, Plains. A memorial service
will be held at the convenience of the family.
