Jerry Lee Chilcott, 74, of Wilkes-Barre, PA  currently residing in Tavares, FL passed away early Saturday morning, 11-November-2023.  He is survived by his wife, June Chilcott, his three daughters, Valerie, Christine, and Angela, as well as his son, Danny; brother-in-law, Walter Mason Jr.;  Jerry was also blessed with 4 grandchildren, Anya, Tyler, Travis, and Austin.

Born in Winchester, VA, he was the son of Edgar and Frances Chilcott of Berryville, VA. Jerry is also survived by his sister, Joanne Llyod and husband Ronald; brother, Ronald Chilcott and wife, Gale, and several nieces and nephews. Jerry started his career in radio broadcasting. In 1983, he moved to Pennsylvania to be with his wife and start a family.  He worked at Techneglas as a foreman until the plant closed.   He then worked at Geisinger Wyoming Valley.

Jerry loved music, playing his guitar, fishing, Star Trek, and being with his family. He had a big heart and filled the room with smiles and laughter.  He will be truly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am from the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains on Monday, November 20th. Interment Immediately following in Fern Knoll Cemetery, Dallas. Friends and family may call for visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, November 19th, from 2 to 3 pm and again on Monday from 10:30 am until time of service.
