She also enjoyed traveling and visited places such as Hawaii, California, Virginia, and Florida.
Joan was a retired telephone operator at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, where she worked for 19 years.
She was married to the late Charles J. Grzedzinski and is survived by their children, Stephen Grzedzinski, with companion Maria Brilla, Charles Grzedzinski II, Linda Cheesic, and husband Ronald and predeceased by son Marc Grzedzinski.
She later remarried the late Frank Kaminski.
Joan leaves behind seven grandchildren: Charles John III Grzedzinski (with Megan Hughes), Ryan, Megan (deceased), Morgan, Christopher Grzedzinski (and wife Beth), Eric Cheesic (and wife Sherry), and Rebecca Coons (and husband Corey).
