John Ramos Jr., born November 8, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2022. John was known as "Chino" by his family and friends. He attended schools in New York, then joined the military serving in the US Army. He last resided in Wilkes-Barre.

He is survived by his mother, Cecilia Serrano Ramos; brothers David, Michael and Jose ; sister Milly, son Alejandro and several nieces and nephews.

John had a great sense of humor and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of John's life will be held in the new year.
