Joseph Elwood Ide, 67, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home in Harvey's Lake.  Joe had a passion for hunting and fishing, and enjoyed many N.Y. fishing trips with family and friends. He found years of enjoyment with family at the Ide cabin. He was an avid collector of coins, stamps, and sports memorabilia. Joe was preceded in death by his father Rolland Sr.,and mother Audrey, brothers Dale, Rolland, Mark, Alan, and son Dale. He is survived by his children Adina and husband Ivan, Shannon, Heather, Michael, Amber, Tracie and husband Ray. Brothers Darren and wife Marie, Kevin and wife Cindy, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10 to 11 am at the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St. Plains, interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweet Valley, burial procession will immediately follow service.
