Louis P. Mikolaichik passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre.

Born on October 13, 1950, he was the son of the late Louis and Leona Mikolaichik. Louis graduated from Dallas High School in 1968 and later earned his degree from Penn State. He went on to serve in the Army Reserves.

Louis spent his working life as a heavy machine operator and was known for his strong work ethic. He loved spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed flying his Cessna on trips with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; his children, Michael Mikolaichik, Amber Williams, Steven Mikolaichik, Samuel Mikolaichik, Jeffrey Mikolaichik and his wife Darlene, and Jamie Mikolaichik; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Louis will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held by his family at a later date.
