Lovey Drahus Yudin's Obituary
Lovey Drahus Yudin, 84, of New Street, Hudson, section of Plains Township, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Plains Township, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Sr. and Tatiana Drahus. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre. She was formerly employed as the Deputy Director at the Treasurer's Office of Luzerne County and has been retired around 15 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Sr. and Tatiana Drahus, her brothers, Stephen II and George Drahus, her nephew, Stephen Drahus III and her nieces, Tatiana and Darlene Drahus Capó. Surviving are nieces, Deborah and Deirdree Drahus Capó.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021, 10:30 AM, at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains. with the Rev. Gregory White of Holy Resurrection Orthodox CHurch, Wilkes-Barre officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Plains. Friends and family may call for visitation from 9:30 until time of service.
