Marie A. Tichy, 70, of Pittston, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Marie was born in Sommersville, NJ to the late Michael and Anna Schur Yatison of Miners Mills section of Wilkes-Barre.  Marie was a graduate of GAR High School.  She is preceded in death by her Husband George Tichy passing 2003. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Isbitski and husband Gary, Miners Mills, brothers, George Yatison and wife Denise, Pittston, John Yatison, Miners Mills, granddaughters, Caitlyn Thomas and husband Joe,Nicole Kronenwetter and husband Jess, g-grandchildren, Sofia, Seth, Braydon and Sadie, several nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers it is the families wish that a donation be made to either the American Diabetes Association or to Mental Health America. A Divine Liturgy with Requiem Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2021, in SS.Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 635 N. River St., Wilkes-Barre, with Father Nestor Iwasiw Officiating. Friends and family may call for a Monday morning visitation at the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains   from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  Interment immediately following in the Parish Cemetery, Plains .
