Mary Ann Ogurkis, 80, of Penn Street, Kingston, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Allied Health Services in Wilkes-Barre, following a brief illness.

Born on August 15, 1944, in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Veronica (Yanik) Andrucyk. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Ogurkis.

Mary Ann was the heart and soul of her family, known lovingly as Mom, Grandma, Ma, and Nana. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in her garden, where she nurtured her love for the outdoors and took great pride in her blooming flowers. An avid sports fan, Mary Ann was devoted to cheering on her Phillies, Eagles, and Penn State, never hesitating to share in their triumphs with those around her.

She is survived by her children: Charlene, wife of Richard Wheeler of Plains; Lisa, wife of Kevin Kerlavage of Hanover Township; Lori, wife of Cedrick Solomon of Kingston; and Michael, husband of Lorine Ogurkis of Conyngham.

Mary Ann's legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Heather Lubinski, Brittany Sarosky, Dyllan Angelo Ogurkis, Nathan Kerlavage, Delainy Ogurkis, Zoe Wheeler, Julia Ogurkis, Emma Kerlavage, Michael Ogurkis Jr., and Malea'h Solomon. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Jax Nelson Horn, Bianca Stacey, and Jordan Sarosky.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains, PA 18705.
