Nancy Carol (Wolfe) Otway of Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania, was welcomed into eternal life on June 20, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on January 16, 1949, in Nanticoke to the late Wilbur and Edith Wolfe. After attending Plymouth High School, Nancy was employed by Plymouth Downing. She then started her career in the food service industry. Nancy was employed at Frank's Snack Bar from 1990–1998. She then went on to work for the Flamingo Diner until retirement in 2015.

After retiring, Nancy loved to travel with her husband. The most memorable being England, Niagara Falls, Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia and many others, but her favorite were their multiple trips to Las Vegas. Nancy was a fabulous cook and truly enjoyed feeding and entertaining her loving family for the holidays.

Nancy was preceded in death by brothers Joseph, Kenny, Rick and Frank Wolfe; granddaughter Jessica.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 27 years Herbert Otway; sisters Marion Koppenhofer, Jenkins Twp.; Barbara Solensky, Dallas; Sandra McCormick, Pittston; Patricia Griffiths, Florida; Edie Maynard, Florida; brothers, Keith Wolfe, Florida; Gary Wolfe, West Virginia; son, Dale Appenzeller (Elena), Mocanaqua; daughter, Patricia Reese (Phillip), Edwardsville; son, Fredrick Appenzeller (Lisa), Larksville; stepdaughters, Nancy Jordan (James), Plymouth; Karen Allabaugh (Frank), Plymouth; Johnna Otway (Mike), Scranton; also blessed with 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Nancy leaves behind a loving family, a lasting legacy, and a lifetime of beautiful memories. The funeral will be held Friday at 10 from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main Street, Plains, followed by a chapel service at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call Thursday 5 to 7 p.m
