Nicole (Goobic) Hapeman 1/1/69 - 12/13/24

It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of our beloved Nicole (Goobic) Hapeman.
Nicole was born New Year's Day 1969 to the late Donald & Maryann Goobic. She was the granddaughter of the late Michael & Anna Goobic and the late Mathew & Anna King.
Being a life long diabetic she faced unrelenting challenges but having no fear would raise her chin & her fists meeting said challenges with her trademark: "Have at it Satch!"
Nikki was a free spirit who loved music, oil painting, planting flowers, sun worshipping, & cooking.
Always a defender of the underdog she would stick up for & give advice to the kids in her neighborhood and for a time made & handed out bagged lunches to anyone who wanted one in the downtown area.
She believed strongly in hospitality but woe to those who would do her or her family wrong.
She will be forever missed by son Joshua Burns (Plains), granddaughter 's - and the two brightest stars in her universe - Allison & Emilia Burns (Wilkes - Barre), husband Joseph & guard dogs Fox & Luna (at home), aunts, uncles, cousins, sister in law, brothers in law, niece's, nephew's, & all those lucky enough to call her friend.
She was one of God's own prototypes - not meant for mass production.
