Richard Cassidy's Obituary
Richard J. Cassidy, 74, of Plains, died peacefully in his sleep,
Monday, September 20, 2022. Born on May 27, 1948, Dunmore, Lackawanna
County, PA. He was the son of Mary Agnes (Cassidy) Emmett.
Educated in area schools. He was a Veteran and served in the U.S.
Army. Employed at L.C.T.A. Wilkes-Barre, for several years, retiring a
year ago. He was an avid Pool Player, winning many tournament awards
over the years.
Preceded in death by his mother, and stepfather William T. Emmett, and
their cat Lucky Boy.
He is survived by the love of his life Catherine Garber, and their cat
Ms. Purdy. Brothers, Billy and wife Jackie Emmett, John and wife
Patricia Emmett, Joseph and wife Aracely Emmett, and Henry Emmett.
Sisters; Patricia Novak, and Mary and, husband Dr. Richard Langdon,
and several nieces and nephews
