Robert Sudnick, 83, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 under Allied's Meade St Hospice care.  Born in Plains, He was the son of the late Joseph and Katheryn Sudnick. Robert retired as a Lieutenant of the Wilkes-Barre Police Dept after 27 years. In his early life, he served the US Marine Corps and, in his latter years, was a security guard at Kings College. Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Betty Ann (Dick) Sudnick, sons, Joseph and wife Ruthann, John, Robert and wife and wife Shelby, and Charles.  Four grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 1st at 9 am from the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains 18705  immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be officiated by Rev. Brian Clarke at 10 am in St Nicholas Parish, 226 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, 18701.  Friends and family are invited to call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 28, from 4 to 6 pm and then on Wednesday morning at 9 am until time of procession.
