Obituary

Robert Thomas Wojcik, 56, of Wilkes-Barre PA, passed away on May 7th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He resided with his wife Denise Devens of 33 years in Ocean City, MD. Robert (Bob) was born on December 22nd, 1965, in Wilkes Barre, PA, the son of Thomas and Stella Wojcik. Growing up, Bob enjoyed spending time with loved ones and liked playing football with his friends at the VA hospital, where they called themselves the "Boulevard Braves." From the age of three Bob was a die hard fan of the New York Jets, although he called being a Jets fan a "torturous life." Bob graduated from James M. Coughlin High school in 1983 and began working at Warren George Drilling shortly after. He then began working in the dental industry as an installer/technician, where he adopted the nickname Bob-O. He married his wife Denise in Plymouth, PA. on October 22nd, 1988, They resided with their sons Richard and Ryan in Wilkes-Barre, PA and enjoyed vacationing as a family in Ocean City, MD. He loved spending time on the beach, boogie boarding, jet skiing, riding go-carts and going to the water park with his sons. In 2010 Bob and Denise continued their dream and moved to Ocean City, MD. Bob was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and will be missed by many. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Wojcik, and his son Richard Wojcik(34), who passed away less than a year ago. Bob is survived by his loving wife Denise Devens Wojcik, son Ryan Wojcik (Kristen), sister Linda Harris (Jake), mother Stella Wojcik, brother Thomas Wojcik, daughter-in-law Meghan Galbraith, and granddaughters Reilly and Ceci. Please join us in Celebration of Life service to share our favorite memories & remember a kind person. Friends may call May 31st Tues. 5 to 7 pm.. Final call will be June 1st Wed.at 11 am  Service will be  given by Monsignor Thomas Muldowney both are at Yeosocks funeral home 40 s. Main st. Plains twp.   Due to severe family allergies we ask in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Robert Wojcik Memorial Fund located at http://www.gofundme.com/f/Robert-Wojcik proceeds will help cover memorial costs and medical bills.
