Obituary for Ronald Pendleton Gosart

Ronald Pendleton Gosart, of Laflin, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1946, in Wilkes-Barre, and was a twin. He was the son of the late Willard and Leona (Searfoss) Gosart and one of four children.

Ronald grew up at Harveys Lake and was a graduate of Lake-Lehman High School. He was an Army veteran who proudly served in Vietnam. After his service, he spent many years living in Florida, where he worked as a cook, including time with the Tobyhanna Army Depot.

Ronald enjoyed the outdoors and liked to hunt, fish, and go metal detecting on the beaches of Florida in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Lottie Freeman, and brother-in-law, Daniel Lukacs.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, the former Maureen (Ottaviani) McIntosh, who lovingly cared for him during his 30 years of declining health; daughter, Lori Cresho and her husband, Michael, of West Pittston; son, William McIntosh, of Dallas; and grandchildren, Cole Cresho and Mikayla Cresho, both of West Pittston.

Services will be private. Arrangements by Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township. Interment in Lehman Center Cemetery, Lehman PA
