Rosalie Romanuski
October 16, 1937 – September 23, 2025

Rosalie Romanuski, 87, of Port Blanchard, Jenkins Township, entered into eternal rest with her Lord on September 23, 2025.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on October 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia Steransky. Rosalie was educated in Jenkins Township schools and worked for many years in the garment industry as a talented seamstress, specializing in wedding dresses.

She had a love for her flower garden and found joy in tending to it. A woman of deep faith, Rosalie instilled in her family the importance of faith, family, and doing what is right.

Rosalie's memory will be forever cherished by her children, Charles Romanuski, Forkston; John Romanuski, Samara Wade,  Jenkins Township; and Julie Coolbaugh, Harding; as well as by her grandchildren Larissa Romanuski, Alex Romanuski, Isaac Romanuski, Andrew Romanuski, John Romanuski, and Jake Romanuski.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Charles Romanuski.

Friends may call on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 South Main Street, Plains Township. A Parastas Service will be held Monday at 6:30 PM, with the Very Rev. Innocent Neal officiating.

The funeral  for Rosalie will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 AM from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 South Main Street, Plains Township, with a Requiem Service at 10:00 AM in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 401 East Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Orthodox Cemetery, Plains Township.
