Sandra Brown, 91, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Al and Bess Feinberg. Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon Brown, and her son, Barry Brown.

She is survived by her children: Marilyn and her husband Joseph Shaffern; Michael and his wife Cindy Brown; Murray and his wife Karen Brown; Sheldon and his wife Christy Brown; and Ellen and her husband Jerry Wein. She was a devoted grandmother to Nicole, Justin, Brandin, Brittany, Cody, Alex, Corey, Amanda, Jordan, and Gregory, and was also blessed with many great-grandchildren.

Sandra was deeply cherished by her family and will be remembered for her unwavering presence, warmth, and love. She was always there when needed most—a source of strength and kindness whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main Street, Plains, PA 18705, followed by interment at 11:00 a.m. in B'nai B'rith Cemetery, Hanover Township. Rabbi David Levin will officiate.
