Sandra Kay Jackson, 66, of Pittston, passed away at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, on Friday, April 15th.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Walter Albert Jackson and Marie Jackson. She attended Benjamin N. Cardozo High School and later studied "Medical Office" at SUNY BEOC. On April 5th, 1988, she married Albert Larry Bell, who passed away shortly after. Sandra lived most of her life in Far Rockaway, Queens, where she worked for some time as a CNA at the Brookhaven Nursing Home. She later moved to Pittston, PA in June of 2012. In her leisure time, Sandra had a passion for reading, crocheting, cooking, and also baking. She shared an immense love for plant life and cherished her time spent with family. She is survived by her sisters Mili Jackson, Stephanie Jackson, Diane Jackson, and brother Brian Jackson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday the 24th from 4-6pm, at Yeosock Funeral Home 40 S. Main Street, Plains, PA 18705.
