Steven Dennis, 56, of the Parsons Section of Wilkes-Barre, passed away, surrounded by family, late in the evening of Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. Steven was born in Wilkes-Barre, on April 10, 1966, to his parents Michael Dennis, Jr. and Louise Dennis. He grew up in the Parsons area. He was a graduate of Coughlin High School and a graduate of King's College where he received a degree in Business. Steven was self-employed throughout his life. He was a very doting father to his daughter Monique, who he adored. His most cherished moments were spent with Monique. She was the light of his life. He also enjoyed spending time with his longtime partner Merissa. He loved ACDC, the Florida Keys, the Jersey Shore and traveling with Merissa. He is preceded in death by his parents Michael Jr. and Louise Dennis. Surviving is his daughter Monique, Parsons; longtime partner Merissa, Parsons; ex-wife Marcia, Hunlock Creek; brothers, Michael III (Teresa), Shavertown; Keith (Davadine), Weston; Robert (Adriana), Waverly; along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
