Tanya Kristen Brugger born November 19th 1973 & died at the young age of 49 on January 30, 2023, from Uterin cancer. She graduated high school in the June of 1992 & went off to college. She finally settled at a job being a teachers assistant for the Center for Development Diabetes aka CDD. She was employed there for 25 years & had a love for kids. She took to heart being at her job & treated  the kids as her own. Tanya is survived by her parent  Werner & Karen, eldest sister Donna & younger Brothers Stephen & Matthew, sister in law Jessica, eldest nephew Alex & niece Kimberly & youngest nephew Kieran. Beloved aunts, uncles & cousins. Tanya had a group of friends she knew for over 30 years & she considered them family, who helped take care of her in her final days & made sure she got the care she needed. Tanya spent many of her days & nights working. When she wasn't at work she spent her weekends taking care of her family & spending time with friends & loved ones. Tanya had a love for people & animals like no other. If she loved you you knew it. She was definitely a people pleaser & always wanted to see everyone happy. She enjoyed traveling, game nights, laughing & having fun, in the summer time spending weekends at drill team races with the fire department cheering on the ballbreakers from Bellmore, as she watched from the sidelines. Her presents at her job will be missed by coworkers kids & faculty. Her family will miss her tremendously as well as her friends. May her soul rest in eternal peace & May her body be free of pain & suffering!
