Walter Narkoff, 91, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre. Walter was a member of Holy Resurrection Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Edwardsville, Walter was the son of the late Peter and Eva Narkoff and was a graduate of Edwardsville High School. He worked for Singer Sewing Machines and later worked as an electronics technician at Tobyhanna Army Depot, from which he retired. Walter served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending Sunday afternoons watching football on TV. Walter was preceded in death by his parents and brothers (infant Peter, Nicholas and Michael). Surviving are his wife, Zora; sister, Evelyn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Honoring Walter's wish, there will be no viewing. The funeral will be held at the convenience of the family from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main Street, Plains Twp, with final interment in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas, PA.
