Born in NY she was the daughter of Sarah Ross Rodriguez Hudak and Abdon Hermeda Rodriguez.  After a rocky youth and then  getting into recovery she found a new life as a homemaker and for a short time she also worked for Carmen's Flowers, Simon's Fabric, and was cook extrodonaire, a confidant, and a mother figure for many clients at the Clem-Mar house in Edwardsville.  She also catered hundreds of events and made cakes that could only be described as works of art.  Many people far and wide can attest that during the holidays she could put a dinner together that would make Norman Rockwell jealous.  During her time here on earth she also sheltered many youth by bringing them into her home and giving them the love and support they needed until they were ready to go back out on their own.  She always lended a hand wherever and whenever regardless of her own sacrifices.

She was preceded in death by her parents Abdon Rodriguez and Sarah Ross Rodriguez Hudak, Sister Rebecca Brunner,  Husband Fred Whitesell, Son Heath Rusinko, Daughter Jessica Whitesell.

Left to carry on her sense of humor, mourn her loss and carry on her memory are her partner Randy Benscoter of Benton, daughter Naomi Reynolds and husband Steven of Nicholson, Granddaughter Sara Reynolds and her significant other Klay Marcy of Nicholson, Granddaughter Emma Whitesell and her significant other Anthony Suarez of Wilkes-Barre, Granddaughter Eva Whitesell and her significant James Kominski, Grandson Seth Reynolds of Nicholson and significant other Felicity Acevedo, Great Grandson Morgan Marcy, Great Grandson Camdyn Reynolds, Richard Moyer, Randy Miller, Roberta and Kenny Carper, Several Sister and Brother-in-law's, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S Main St, Plains Township on Sunday, September 18th at 4 p.m. with Fern Chromey officiating.  Friends and relatives may call from 2  to 4 p.m.prior to the service.

The family asks that everyone one wear white or bright colors as she hated black for funerals.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to ease her passing.
